SCOTT SCAMMAHORN

The Firm’s founder, Scott E. Scammahorn, experienced childhood in Plano, Texas, having moved there with his parents and sister from Tulsa, Oklahoma at age 3. He attended elementary and high school in Dallas, Texas, where he was heavily involved in sports and church activities throughout his childhood.

In 1995, Mr. Scammahorn graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, where he had been actively involved in student politics. His endeavors then led him to law school, and, after graduating from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas, Mr. Scammahorn was accepted to a rigorous advanced law program at Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Texas, where he earned a Master of Legal Letters (LL.M.) in tax law, a prestigious degree which is held by less than 2% of attorneys nationwide.

After working for a tax planning firm in Dallas, Texas, Mr. Scammahorn started the Scammahorn Beale Law Firm, opening the principal office in Tyler, Texas. He lives in Tyler, Texas with his beautiful wife, Kamala, and his three children.
